1961 Monaco Grand Prix - Part One

This is the first part of a series of six segments on the 1961 Grand Prix of Monaco, Stirling's most famous Formula 1 victory which he took racing the Rob Walker Lotus 18. Enjoy watching this absorbing 49 year old footage.

Features an onboard lap of the 1.9 mile circuit, note that the tunnel is a lot shorter than it is now, imagery of Bruce Mclaren, Tony Brookes, Graham Hill, in his BRM, to name but a few, as well as of Stirling and qualifying footage.
