Project 46 - November 2012 UPDATE 1

My architect, Terry, is hard at work preparing the plans for a big and important modernisation and upgrading of my home/office.

Twenty years ago, number 46 was still a state of the art building, in the heart of Mayfair. It is still fairly advanced, with a Williams F1 made carbon fibre lift car, electro-hydraulic descending table, keyless Kaba entry locks etc, BUT there is so much further to go. This is 2012 after all!

One should be able to move around the premises without switching on lights on and off, for instance. There are self-cleaning outside finishes, cloud-over bathrooms windows, and so on.

Look at the advances in kitchens. Iced water and ice on tap, nearly perfect dishwashers and washing machines. Music, anywhere you want it, and with superb digital quality.

I hope to begin the work early next year, and will continually update this section. But, more importantly, I will give full details of where any of my chosen UK products, materials, fittings and fixtures can be found and my reason for their choice.

Finally, if you know about any novel or new ideas, I would appreciate it if you would email me via the website.

But please remember….quality does matter!

Ciao, ciao
